Applies to self-propelled, trailed or mounted equipment for harvesting potatoes (potato spinners, storage harvesters and potato harvesters); it does not apply to special machines used for potato leaf control or eradication. Applies in particular to stationary or moving parts of equipment for harvesting potatoes, which, owing to their arrangement or design, represent a hazard. It applies to new equipment for harvesting potatoes, which within the meaning of the Law on Technical Equipment, are being introduced into circulation for the time.
