Applies to flame and induction hardening steels according to Table 1 in the form of rolled or forged half-finished products (e.g. blooms, roughed slabs, billets); hot rolled or hot forged steel bars (round, square, hexagon, octagon and flat steel); hot rolled wire; hot rolled sheet, strip and wide flats; seamless tubes, rings and tyres; open-die forgings and drop forgings; generally up to the diameters stated in Table 6, or in other equivalent dimensions.
