Covers enamelled unalloyed and low-alloy steel appliances, components and pipe fittings ('appliances', for short) mainly for use in process engineering applications. It specifies minimum requirements for appliances that are to be met if resistance to thermal shock (see Figures 1 and 2) has been requested (cf. clause 5).
