Specifies the calibration of Ubbelohde viscometers (as specified in DIN 51562 parts 1 & 2), and the determination of their uncertainty of measurement. These actions improve the comparability of measured data. When calibrating against standard viscometers or with samples having standard viscosities traceable to national standards, the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 are also met.
