The purpose of the method is to determine the sieve residues and particle size distribution of powdered plastics (e.g. polymers, moulding materials 1) powdered coating materials)2). By means of this test it is possible to check powdered plastics for uniformity in the case of successive deliveries and to assess their probable behaviour during processing.
