This standard is included in DIN Handbook 49. The method specified is designed for the colorimetric determination of a hiding power value as the parameter for the hiding power of pigmented media, e.g. of paints and plastic films. Rules for preparation and special rules relating to procedure (such as the measurement of the film thickness) are not specified.
