Diese Norm gilt für die Bestimmung des Falschlichts von optischen und optronischen Abbildungssystemen im optischen Spektralbereich nach DIN 5031 Teil 7. Die messtechnischen Bedingungen gelten vorzugsweise für den visuellen Spektralbereich. Für angrenzende Spektralbereiche sind gegebenenfalls Modifikationen der Messtechnik erforderlich.
