Diese Filze werden als Stückfilze (Rollen- bzw. Meterware), Scheiben, Tafeln, Blöcke u. ä. oder als Filzwaren (z. B. Schneid-, Stanz-, Dreh-, Fräs- oder Schleifteile) geliefert. Abgrenzung gegen vernadelte Filze und gewebte Filztuche siehe DIN 61 205.
