Diese Norm legt die Schliesskopfhöhe und -durchmesser für Vollniete aus Aluminium und Aluminium-Legierungen LN 9198 und DIN 65 399, Nickellegierungen LN 9178 und DIN 65 379, Reintitan und Titanlegierungen fest. Sie ist anstelle von LN 9011 bei Neukonstruktionen anzuwenden. Sie ist anwendbar bei Hand- und Automatennietung.
