This standard is included in DIN Handbook 3. Gives connecting dimensions for simple roller chains as in DIN 8187-1, with angled or straight attachment plates. Roller chains are commonly used for the purposes of power transmission; plates that are mounted on roller chains allow additional elements to be attached.
