This Standard is included in DIN Handbook 43 E, 55 E, 193 E and 140 E. Applies to fasteners as described in Clause 2 and specifies terms for them, terms for the most important characteristics of the parts and their abbreviations. When specifying descriptors in produce standards, spelling according to precedence of the characteristics is obligatory.
