ALSO AVAILABLE ENG/FRENCH Applies specifically to mobile radio transmitters having audio frequency bandwidths generally not exceeding 10 Hz for the transmission of voice and other types of signals, using angle modulation (phase frequency modulation) or double sideband amplitude modulation with full carrier. Gives supplementary definitions, the conditions and methods of measurement used to ascertain the performance of transmitters in order to make possible meaningful comparison of the results of measurement made by different observers and on different equipment. This standard is intended to be used in conjunction with Publication 489.1.
