This standard provides guidelines in the Employment Screening process of verifying the identity, integrity and credentials of any person entrusted with resources and/or assets in an organization, and can be utilized as a basis for industry or organizational specific screening policies and procedures. It applies equally to organizations in both the private and public sector.
