Proposes requirements for the construction and determination of performance criterija for medium density fibreboard (MDF). This edition is a new proposal and constitutes Part 2 of a series of Standards for reconstituted wood-based panels, Part 1 being Particleboard. The test methods, previously included as appendices in AS 1859, Flat Pressed Particleboard are now a separate document, Methods of sampling and testing reconstituted wood-based panels, and test methods for MDF. These proposals are all being reviewed concurrently.
