It includes requirements for anaesthetic vaporizers intended for incorporation into anaesthetic machines. Definitions, medical gas cylinder and pipeline inlet connections, flow control valves, flowmeters, gas mixers, vaporizers, common gas and gas power outlets, oxygen flush, oxygen supply failure and information to be applied by the manufacturer, are laid down.
