Proposes requirements for washer/disinfectors that accommodate, wash, disinfect, and either partially or totally dry certain types of respiratory apparatus such as anaesthetic bags, rebreathing bags, endotracheal tubes and corrugated tubing. Washer/disinfectors for repiratory apparatus are not intended to treat sucker tubing, single use equipment, mechanical components, electrical components, and other types of equipment. Guidance on information that should be supplied with enquiries and orders is given in an appendix.
