Proposes performance requirements for steel pipe and fittings intended for use in water supply and pressurized sewerage applications. As a fundamental requirement of the draft standard steel pipes must be able to withstand an internal hydrostatic test pressure of 90% of the specified or nominal minimum yield strength.
