Proposes specific requirements for portable fire extinguishers of the aerosol powder type. These extinguishers are designed for one use only, not to be refilled, and to be discarded after any use or depressurised and discarded before the expiry date shown on the label, that is, five years after the date of manufacture, also shown on the label. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
