Proposes requirements and recommendations for the storage and handling of oxidizing agents (i.e. dangerous goods of Class 5.1, as classified in the ADG Code). The draft Standard applies to Class 5.1 swimming-pool chemicals and to Class 5.1 substances that have Subsidiary Risks assigned. It may also apply to substances of other Classes possessing a 5.1 Subsidiary Risk. A bibliography of documents providing guidelines on the preparation of emergency plans is included in an appendix.
