Proposes a method for the design, conduct, assessment and certification of tests for shorthand reporters in court and parliamentary fields, and other areas in which the accurate transcription of spoken words is required with minimal delay. The tests cover shorthand speed, English language and general knowledge. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
