Proposes railway safety requirements to be included in a railway safety management system by any organization seeking to demonstrate the ability to control the processes that determine the acceptability of railway safety activities. The draft Standard applies to railways having a nominal gauge of 600 mm or greater and includes specific interface requirements for the operation of the interstate system.
