This draft Standard proposes requirements for the manufacture, characterization and verification of structural Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) and sets out dimensional tolerances, moisture content, veneer quality, bond quality, and properties required to be determined for structural LVL. An appendix describes recommended practices for the storage and handling of structural LVL. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
