Proposes the adoption of ISO 5667-9:1992 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. This proposed Standard provides detailed guidance on the design of sampling programs, sampling techniques and the handling and preservation of samples from marine waters for the purposes of process control, quality characterization, identification of sources of pollution, compliance with water quality guidelines or standards, and other specific reasons.
