Proposes guidance on the management of noise control in occupational settings which are applicable to all types of workplaces, large or small, and to all types of noise. It provides procedures for noise control in the design of new workplaces and guidance on the implementation of noise control in existing workplaces. It also provides technical information on basic noise control techniques applicable to both new and existing workplaces. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
