Proposes the minimum requirements for the necessary periodic tests and maintenance procedures together with precautions to be taken when automatic fire sprinkler systems are rendered inoperative. Requirements for the maintenance of pumpset systems, covered by AS 2941 Fixed fire protection installations - Pumpset systems, have been transferred to a new Standard in the AS 1851 series.
