Proposes a system, utilizing the application of one or more specified colours, for colour coding steel products of various wrought forms and alloy designations, for identification purposes. Also includes a colour-coding system to indicate thickness of plate, hot-rolled bars and tubular steel products. Appendices give requirements for colours and details of their formulation. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
