Proposes the minimum requirements for the design and construction of unreinforced, reinforced and prestressed masonry. The proposed new developments to the 1988 edition include the energy line method for design unreinforced masonry, additional requirements for structures subject to earthquake actions and the design of prestressed masonry, AAC (autoclaved aerated concrete) and wall ties.
