Proposes the tests and criteria, referenced in particular Standards, for elastomeric, PVC, fire performance and polyolefin insulating and sheathing materials used in the construction of electric cables and flexible cords. It does not cover tests that can only be conducted on complete cables. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
