Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 8824-1:1995,which specifies a standard notation called abstract syntax notation one (ASN.1) that is used for the definition of data types,values and constraints on data types. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. The complete text can be viewed at the Sydney and Melbourne Information Centres of Standards Australia or at Standards New Zealand. Arrangements can be made to view copies at other Standards Australia branches if required.
