Proposes requirements for the mass, quality and testing of galvanized coatings applied to open sections on all surfaces, using a continuous (in-line) process. Appendices give test methods for determining coating mass and local thickness, and advice on the transport and storage of galvanized open sections and advice on the renovation of damaged and uncoated areas. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
