This Standard gives general requirements applying to used domestic electrical appliances intended for sale for reconditioning (reuse), salvaging of parts only (recycling) or historic collection. This Standard does not apply to used electrical appliances offered for resale and which comply with the testing requirements of AS/NZS 3760:1996, commercial electrical appliances, electrical appliances not normally used in domestic situations, or new electrical appliances.
