Proposes the adoption of IEC document 17B/1011/FDIS Draft IEC 60947-5-6: Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 5-6: Control circuit devices and switching elements - DC interface for proximity sensors and switching amplifiers (NAMUR) which specifies particular requirements in addition to those specified in AS/NZS 3947.1 and AS/NZS 3947.5.2, for proximity switches connected for operation by a two-wire interconnecting cable to the control input of a switching amplifier. Proposed as a Joint Australian/ New Zealand Standard.
