This document specifies performance requirements and test methods for high performance protective helmets that may or may not have a peak, for use by people involved in equestrian activities.It includes requirements for shock absorption, resistance to penetration, lateral crush, the strength and effectiveness of the retention system and the deflection of a peak if fitted.
