Specifies an input/output bus for interconnection of computers and peripheral devices. Specifies extensions to the Small System Interface. Also supplies more complete standardization of previously defined command sets, including the necessary specification of mechanical, electrical and functional characteristics of the interface, permitting inter-operability of conforming devices.
