Provides guidelines for determining the content of organic carbon in drinking, ground, surface, sea and waste water. Addresses definitions, interferences, reagents, and sample pretreatment of water samples having an organic carbon content in the range 0.3 mg/l to 1000 mg/l. Higher concentrations may be determined by diluting the water.
