Specifies a method for the determination of the linear density (mass per unit length) of ceramic fibres, including silicon carbide, silicon nitride, silicon carbon-nitride, alumino-silicate, alumina or silicon oxide fibres. The linear density is determined on un-sized ceramic yarn.
