Describes the conditions for determination of compressive properties of ceramic matrix composite materials with continuous fibre reinforcement at ambient temperature. It applies to all ceramic matrix composites with a continuous fibre reinforcement, unidirectional (ID), bidirectional (2D), and tridirectional (3D), loaded along the principal axis of reinforcement.
