Gives requirements for mechanically testing load-rated line hardware for use on transmission and distribution facilities. It covers routine acceptance testing and is not intended for initial design tests. Items covered in this standard are clevis and, eye fittings, Y-clevis fittings, socket fittings, ball fittings, shackles, chain links, suspension clamps, triangular and rectangular yoke plates and strain clamps.
