Covers internal and external audio-visual communiction of destination and passenger information as well as announcements that relate to emergencies and safety procedures and advetisement features on rail transit vehicles. The logical, physical and electrical interfaces of systems and sub-systems are specified. The following equipment are included: public address system, passenger information signs, crew/passenger call intercom system and radio system and internal display system intervace with the public address system.
