This Indian Standard which is identical to ISO 16827 : 2012 ‘Non-destructive testing - Ultrasonic testing - Characterization and sizing of discontinuities’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Non-Destructive Testing Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.
