JIS A 1426:1995

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the testing methods for the thermal performance of solar heat storage tanks of the direct heat storage type, indirect heat storage type, and other types for solar systems which use liquids as the heat storing medium and store thermal energy as sensible heat, hereinafter referred to as the \"heat storage tanks\". However, this standard does not apply to heat storage tanks which use heat collecting mediums or heat storing mediums utilizing latent heat. The heat storage tanks referred to here mean heat storage tanks having heat storage tank capacity of not larger than 1000 liter including those for hot water supply and for heat storage, and shall include those heat storage tanks which integrally incorporate supplementary heat supply devices.
