This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the rock wool sheathing boards, hereinafter referred to as the \"rock wool boards\", formed by sheet making from rock wool as the principal raw material, and to be used for the interior or exterior backing materials mainly of buildings, for the purposes of thermal insulation and fire protection.
