This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the turnbuckles made of carbon steel products, hot-dip zinc coated carbon steel products and stainless steel products to be used for diagonal bracings of buildings. For the turnbackles for building of corbon steel products, open frame type body (except M10) and turnbackle bolts (except M6 to M10) with material of STKM11A, 12A, 13A and 14A of JIS G 3445 are specified in Annex (normative).
