This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the performance-test methods of the internal-combustion-engine driven rotary compressors, hereinafter referred to as the \"machines\". In addition, the internal combustion engine is referred to as the \"engine\", and the rotary compressor, as the \"compressor\", for construction machinery. Further more, this standard may be applied to the electric-motor driven rotary compressors of the same type, as appropriate.
