This Standard specifies the method for measuring the screw thread plug gauges and screw thread ring gauges of the limit gauges for metric screw threads and limit gauges for unified screw threads specified in JIS B 0251 and JIS B 0255, respectively, and limit gauges for parallel pipe threads specified in JIS B 0254.
