This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies semi-tubular rivets made of steel, hereinafter referred to as the \"steel rivets\", semi-tubular rivets made of brass, hereinafter referred to as the \"brass rivets\", semi-tubular rivets made of copper, hereinafter referred to as the \"copper rivets\", and semi-tubular rivets made of aluminium, hereinafter referred to as the \"aluminium rivets\" for general application.
