This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies steel parallel pins, hereinafter referred to as the \"steel pins\" and stainless steel parallel pins, hereinafter referred to as the \"stainless pins\" for general use. Further, when the terms steel pins and stainless pins are collectively used in this standard, they shall simply be called as the \"pins\".
