This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the measuring methods and obtaining methods of errors of the pitch, tooth profile, tooth trace, radial runout and tooth thickness and the measuring method of working error of both tooth flanks of involute spur and helical gears, hereinafter referred to as the \"gears\".
