This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the enclosed-scale mercury-in glass thermometers for general use of total immersion type and of -30 to +360 centigrade degrees in temperature range among the mercury-in glass thermometers, hereinafter referred to as the \"enclosed-scale thermometers\".
