This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the gear tooth micrometer callipers(1), hereinafter referred to as the \"micrometers\", having scale interval of 0.01 mm, screw thread pitch 0.5 mm of spindle, anvil of disc type, and spindle end surface, with the maximum measuring length not more than 300 mm.
